Bishop Ryan Reed
Bishop Ordinary
The Right Reverend Ryan S. Reed SSC was consecrated fourth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth on September 21, 2019, and has served as Diocesan Bishop since January 2020. He succeeds the Right Reverend Jack Leo Iker, who was the third Diocesan Bishop of Fort Worth from 1995 to 2020. His predecessors are the Rt. Rev. A. Donald Davies and the Rt. Rev. Clarence C. Pope, Jr. Bishop Reed holds an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, where he belonged to the Corps of Cadets, and a Master’s Degree from Trinity School for Ministry in Pennsylvania. Before he was elected bishop, he served here at St. Vincent's Cathedral for 17 years as the Dean.
