Dss. Lenore Rothman
Deaconess
I was raised in Hurst. I went to St. Vincent’s for a few years as a young child. I returned as an adult after graduating from college. I earned a Bachelor’s in Biology and taught in Junior and Senior High Schools. After 13 years of teaching, I earned a Bachelor’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Four years later, I earned a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. I retired after 25 years of working as a Physician Assistant in Family Practice. I took some theology classes through St. Anselm’s School of Theology. I will be finishing a two-year course of study through St.Paul’s House of Formation in May of 2026. I was set apart as a lay deaconess in May 2025. I serve Christ through his church under the direction of the rector and bishop. My duties include teaching Catechism classes, serving at the altar, singing in the choir, helping with office duties, and helping with the pastoral care of women.
In my free time, I’m learning to play cello. I enjoy reading, playing games, knitting, and spending time with friends and family.
