The Rev. Canon Randall W. Foster - School Chaplain
Email

Fr. Foster was ordained as a priest on September 14, 2007, at St. Vincent's Cathedral. He has been a teacher at St. Vincent's School since 2003, where today he serves as school chaplain and teaches religion and history for the fifth through the eighth grades. He has previously served as a teaching assistant at the University of Texas (American History) and the University of Chicago (New Testament).

He is presently working toward completing his doctoral dissertation at the University of Chicago in the department of New Testament and Early Christian Literature. His academic interests include the development of Christian doctrine in the early and medieval Church. He has a reading knowledge of Biblical Hebrew, ancient Greek, Latin, French and German.

His hobbies include amateur radio and Gregorian chant. After spending six chilly years in Chicago, he happily returned to his hometown of Bedford. He is a proud "alumnus" of St. Vincent's School, where he attended kindergarten.
